Lana Kaufman, born in Uzbekistan in 1982, holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Kyiv National University of Economics and a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Ukrainian National Academy of Culture and Arts. She embraces impressionism but explores various styles in her compositions and decorative paintings, focusing on landscapes and environmental themes.
Throughout her career, Lana has participated in numerous exhibitions globally, from Kiev to Rome, New York to Vienna, and received accolades like the “Pride of the Country” Award in 2018. Her dedication to environmental causes is evident in her “Earthmate” eco-festival and involvement in climate change initiatives.
Notably, Lana’s paintings dedicated to Earth and oceans were exhibited in Venice and Milan in 2020, supporting the World Cleanup Day movement. In 2023, she received the Spectrum Art award at Miami Art Week, followed by participation in the New York Art Expo in 2024.
Lana’s commitment extends beyond art, as she raised funds for children in Ukraine through auctions and directed a portion of her sales to support children affected by war.
Lana Kaufman’s philosophy resonates with many who believe that “Art has the power to touch the soul, becomes a source of inspiration, encouraging us to appreciate the beauty around us and aspire to create a more meaningful and harmonious existence.”
